Ghada Husni Mohamed Mawad is a Senior Supervisor in Transfusion Medicine at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), with over 20 years of experience in laboratory leadership, transfusion services, and healthcare quality management. She holds an Executive Master's in Healthcare Administration with Honors and is ASCP certified. Ghada has led major initiatives in accreditation, laboratory information systems optimization, procurement governance, and quality improvement programs. She played a key role in the commissioning of SSMC and the development of Apheresis and Cellular Therapy services. Recognized for her expertise in CAP, AABB, JCI, and ISO 15189 standards, she is committed to operational excellence, staff development, and patient safety. She has also contributed to research, professional education, and the advancement of transfusion medicine practices in the UAE.
