It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the International Surgical Pathology Conference, held in partnership with the International Academy of Pathology (IAP) - Arab Division, taking place January 14 - 17, 2027, at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
We are meeting at an extraordinary time for our specialty. Surgical pathology is being reshaped by precision medicine, molecular and predictive diagnostics, digital pathology, and artificial intelligence - advances that are expanding our diagnostic reach and placing pathology at the centre of personalized care. Yet the discipline’s foundations - morphology, diagnostic judgment, and clinicopathologic correlation remain unchanged in their importance. Our vision for this conference is to bring these worlds together: the very best of traditional diagnostic pathology alongside the technologies defining its future.
We are particularly proud to welcome an exceptional group of world-renowned pathologists and international thought leaders from leading academic and clinical institutions around the world. With particular focus on diagnostic excellence, evolving classifications, precision oncology, predictive biomarkers, molecular pathology, digital pathology, and AI. Lectures, interactive discussions, workshops, and case-based sessions will translate the latest advances into everyday diagnostic practice.
Beyond the scientific program, this conference is a platform for our regional and international community to exchange knowledge and build lasting collaborations and connections. We are equally committed to supporting the next generation of pathologists, and we strongly encourage trainees and young pathologists to participate, present their work, and engage directly with international experts.
