Joined the Haematology laboratory of the Whittington Hospital September 1991 and worked there for 6 years.
I then moved to Kings College Hospital for 3 years before departing in 2000 for three short tenures at: the Royal Marsden Hospital Fulham; Royal Surrey Hospital Guildford and Epsom General Hospital.
Then 2004 I relocated to the Bristol Royal Infirmary to work in Haemostasis and Immunology for 17 years before another relocation to Sheffield and NEQAS Blood Coagulation in 2021.
Within the umbrella term of Haematology Laboratories I have worked in disciplines including: general haematology; blood transfusion; immunophenotyping; molecular diagnostics; immunology and haemostasis.
