Dr. Shweta is a highly skilled healthcare professional with extensive clinical and management expertise. An American Board Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist, she brings over 20 years of experience in managing both standalone and hospital laboratories.
Dr. Shweta currently serves as the Executive Director of Medical and Commercial Operations – Diagnostics within Global Patient Care at M42. She also chairs the Laboratory Services for Danat Al Emarat Hospital and HealthPlus Network of Specialty Centers. Dr. Shweta has been instrumental in establishing clinical laboratories across these facilities, including the launch of a Next Generation Sequencing and Cytogenetics Laboratory.
Dr. Shweta completed her training at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School, where she was Chief Resident. She holds certifications from the American Board of Pathology and Fellowships in Oncology Pathology from Memorial Sloan Kettering, USA, and Cytopathology from Hartford Hospital, USA.
Her expertise extends to CAP, JCIA, AABB, and ISO15189 accreditation. Dr. Shweta is also a CAP auditor and is experienced in leading CME programs. Her role as a medical leader allows her to provide technical insight, scientific direction, and functional expertise in a think tank capacity.
