Dr. Sara El Bisari is a leader in Clinical Cytogenetics and Cytogenomics with over 20 years of experience spanning reproductive, prenatal, hematological, and cancer cytogenomics. She currently serves as Technical Director of Cytogenetics at the National Reference Laboratory in Abu Dhabi, where she leads advanced diagnostic services, drives innovation in cytogenomic technologies, and oversees international accreditation initiatives. Dr. El Bisari has been instrumental in establishing cytogenetics and PGT laboratories, advancing the application of shallow whole genome sequencing, and scaling high-throughput NIPT services. She is actively engaged in the training of pre- and postgraduate students and interns, and is a recognized speaker with published contributions to the field.
