Dr. Basel Altrabulsi is Vice Chief of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Associate Professor at Khalifa University. American board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, he completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center and fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His expertise includes breast, gynecologic, and thyroid pathology, with particular interests in predictive biomarkers, precision oncology, digital pathology, and artificial intelligence. He has led major laboratory transformation initiatives and is actively involved in research, medical education, and advancing diagnostic services across the region.
