No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
Within 30 minutes of collection, centrifuge at 1,000 X g for 15 min. Pull off the plasma to a clean centrifuge tube. Second centrifugation is at 3,000 X g for 10 min. Pull off the plasma to clean transport tube.
