The thyroid hormone index, also known as a free thyroxine index (FTI) estimates active, unbound T4 hormone levels in the blood by adjusting total T4 measurements for abnormal levels of carrier proteins.
This profile contains the free thyroxine index, T3 uptake (THBR), TSH and Thyroxine (T4, total).
