Test Overview

A plasma or serum lipid profile is used primarily to evaluate an individual’s risk of developing cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), screen for inherited lipid disorders, and guide targeted medical therapies.
The panel contains: Total Cholesterol, LDL-Cholesterol, HDL-Cholesterol, Non-HDL-Cholesterol (calculated) and Triglycerides. Results are reported in SI Units e.g. mmol/L
