Recipient serum: 1 mL AND Donor whole blood: 34 mL
Recipient Serum: Yellow SST or red top AND Donor whole blood: ACD × 4
No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
Send the recipient's serum AND the whole blood of each donor. Ensure that the serum is labeled with the recipient's details only, and the whole blood is labeled with the respective donor's details only.
