No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
Using a chilled lavender-top (EDTA) tube, collect a whole blood specimen, add 0.25 mL of Trasylol(R) to the tube and mix well. Centrifuge the sample and remove the Plasma. FREEZE immediately.
