NMR lipoprofile Serum-separator tube. Other tubes should not be used as they may produce erroneous results.
No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
Allow the sample to stand for 60 to 120 minutes to release the ECP in the cells prior to centrifugation. Separate the serum after 60 to 120 minutes and transfer to a plastic transport tube.
