Bronchial washings or bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) specimens obtained by physician

Not less than 1-2 mL for washings

50 mL disposable centrifuge tube

Patient Preparation

No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
