AFB Smear and Culture with Reflex
42 days
MGIT™ 960 mycobacterial detection system,Rapid MGIT TBc Identification
Accredited NRL Laboratory
Daily
Combines an immediate microscopic smear for AFB with a culture. If mycobacteria grow in culture, the lab automatically performs identification of the organism. This approach provides a quick clue (smear) and definitive confirmation (culture + species identification) of mycobacterial infection
