Hiba Jodeh is a highly accomplished Diabetes Educator with over 17 years of experience in diabetes care, patient education, and clinical innovation. With a passion for advancing diabetes management, she has played a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes through technology integration, structured education programs, and professional mentorship.
Currently serving as a Diabetes Educator at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC), Hiba spearheads the delivery of advanced diabetes care, overseeing specialized clinics for poorly controlled diabetes and insulin pump therapy.
Hiba's extensive contributions to diabetes education include serving as a Core Faculty Member for the Imperial Diabetes Educator Course (IDET) since 2016. She has mentored numerous healthcare professionals, fostering excellence in diabetes education and patient-centered care. Her expertise in structured education for Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) has resulted in the development of evidence-based referral pathways and patient education frameworks. Her impact extends beyond clinical settings into research and international conferences. She has co-authored multiple abstracts presented at renowned conferences, including the Diabetes UK Professional Conference and the Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD) Conference 2025. As a seasoned speaker and panelist, Hiba has been a keynote speaker at the First Diabetes Educator Conference and multiple workshops across the UAE, sharing her insights on diabetes care and innovation.
Hiba holds a Master of Science in Diabetes from Warwick University, UK, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Diabetes Education and Clinical Care from Malmö University, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Jordan. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified Pump Trainer (Medtronic, Roche, Omnipod), holding multiple licensures in the USA, UAE, and Jordan.
