Dr Yasin K Ahmed

Dr. Yasin K Ahmed, us American Board Certified Anatomic, Clinical pathologist and Cytopathologit and holds academic appointment as a clinical assistant professor at University of Sharjah and currently serves as consultant pathologist at National Reference Lab/Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Ahmed further honed his expertise through a fellowship in Oncologic Surgical Pathology from world renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York USA and Cytopathology fellowship from Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center. He also worked as a clinical research fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Hematopathology in Texas USA. He is a member of several professional societies including United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and College of American Pathologists as well as Emirates Medical Association. His areas of expertise include thyroid and head and neck pathology, gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary pathology, fine needle aspiration cytology as well as oncologic surgical pathology.
