Dr. Stephen R. Grobmyer

Dr. Stephen R. Grobmyer, MD, is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist and the Institute Chair of the Oncology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Grobmyer was Professor of Surgery, Section Head of Breast Surgery and Co-Director of the Cleveland Clinic Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio, US.

Dr. Grobmyer received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and completed his residency in General Surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, New York. He completed a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York. Dr. Grobmyer's innovative clinical care and research focuses on developing new approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat breast cancer. He has published over 196 peer-reviewed manuscripts, twenty book chapters and edited a textbook on innovative cancer therapies. Additionally, he has given over 120 invited lectures nationally and internationally.
