No special preparation is required for this test. You may eat, drink, and take your medications as normal, unless instructed otherwise by your healthcare provider.
Collect specimen prior to dialysis - if applicable. Do not collect if patient has received antithymocyte globulin, OKT3, or alemtuzumab (Campath) recently. These drugs may cause false-positive results.
