The Medical Laboratory Technologist Training Program is designed to equip aspiring medical laboratory technologists with practical, hands-on clinical experience in healthcare laboratory environments. The program bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world practice, ensuring participants develop the competencies required to work effectively as professional medical laboratory technologists.

• To provide practical hands-on experience in clinical laboratory techniques and procedures. 
• To enhance understanding of laboratory equipment, quality control, and safety protocols. 
• To expose participants to various laboratory departments based on program selection. 
• To develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• To prepare participants for eligibility to sit for professional certification examinations.

Clinical Laboratory Placement: Participants will be assigned to clinical laboratories within healthcare facilities. 

Supervision: Training will be conducted under experienced and certified laboratory professionals. 

Hands-on Experience: Participants will perform laboratory testing, quality control procedures, and result interpretation. 

Department Rotation: Exposure to haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, serology, blood bank, anatomic pathology, and molecular diagnostics. 

Evaluation and Assessment: Performance will be monitored through practical assessments and supervisor feedback.
