Dr Ali Hajeer

Dr. Ali obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, where he also completed a fellowship in histocompatibility and immunogenetics. In 2000, he was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists. In 2001, Dr. Ali joined King Abdulaziz Medical City National Guard Health Affairs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a consultant clinical scientist. There, he held the positions of Head of Immunopathology and Deputy Chairman.
In 2010, Dr. Ali earned the fellowship of the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. He was the founder of the Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry, established in 2011, and a co-founder of the Arabian Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenomics.
Dr. Ali's scope of practice includes HLA typing by NGS, PRA, flow cross-matching, infections serology, autoimmune serology, and immunodeficiency. His field of expertise lies in transplant immunology and immunopathology.
