Dr. Ahmad Alduaij

Consultant Pathologist

Dr. Alduaij is a Staff Physician in the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with expertise in Hematopoietic (including benign hematology, body fluids, myeloid neoplasms and lymphoid neoplasms), Gastrointestinal, Pancreatic and Liver Pathology.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in 2015, he held the role of Attending Pathologists in Kuwait Ministry of Health, where he was responsible for the diagnosis and staging of cases of hematologic (anemia, thalassemia, leukemia, lymphoma), gastrointestinal, pancreatic, biliary, liver cancer and non-cancer conditions.

A graduate of the University of Liverpool in UK, Dr. Alduaij completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at a Brown University Affiliated Program in 2011 and his fellowship in Hematopathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston in 2012 (Harvard Affiliated Hospital). He then completed his fellowship in Gastrointestinal Tract, Pancreas and Liver Pathology at a Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, US in 2013. He is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists, and American Society for Clinical Pathology, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Hematology.
